Take Control. Get Screened.

Thank you to Stand Up for Cancer for honoring my dad.

Please encourage everyone in your life to be screened for colon cancer. Among cancers that affect both men and women, colorectal cancer (cancer of the colon or rectum) is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. Every year, about 140,000 Americans are diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and more than 50,000 people die from it. Thanks to improvements in prevention, early detection, and treatment, more than a million people in the US count themselves as survivors of colorectal cancer. Living a healthy lifestyle can help reduce your risk of colorectal cancer. But regular screening is also important. Testing can often find colon cancer early, when it’s most treatable, or sometimes even prevent it altogether.

It came true!

After five years of hoping, dreaming, and imagining what it would feel like to wear the crown, my dream came true last night.

God's timing truly is perfect.  Thank you to my incredible sponsors, family, friends, and my wonderful new family at Clemente Productions.  Thank you to all of the Miss New Hampshire USA and Miss New Hampshire Teen USA state delegates, it was an honor to share the stage with you.  I sincerely hope you will all be back next year to compete, I've learned sometimes dreams take a few years to come true!

I am so grateful for this beautiful journey and so excited for the year ahead.  I can not wait to cheer on our spectacular Miss USA at Miss Universe next week.  Go Nia!

Wishing you a Confidently Beautiful New Year!

xoxo Sammie
